HOW TO GET A LIBRARY CARD
Adult Accounts: Visit us to apply in person and speak to the staff member on duty. They can sign you up right then and there with your address, phone, and email. ID is not required.
Child Accounts:
For a child to have an account, their parent/guardian must have an account and be responsilbe for the care and return of borrowed items. To start an account, children should be accompanied by the parent/guardian or we can provide your child with a paper application for you to complete and return.
Teen Accounts: For patrons aged 12-17, libraries must ask for consent to allow their guardians to have access to their account details (Act 150/s.220). The reason for this privacy policy is to allow minors to access information on potentially sensitive topics such as mental health, addiction, or abuse, without fear of parental oversight.
